iPad Sees More Than 300,000 Sales in One Day

Apple Corp. announced on Monday that it sold more than 300,000 iPads (in Apple's own words: A revolutionary device for browsing the web, reading and sending email, enjoying photos, watching videos, playing games, reading e-books and much more) in US on Saturday. iPad became available for purchase on the very same day. According to the company, total sales of iPads included preordered iPads, deliveries to channel partners and sales at Apple Retail Stores.
